Yogi Adityanath leading Uttar Pradesh government has introduced a new social media policy where influencers can earn between ₹2 lakh to ₹8 lakh per month for promoting government initiatives on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. However, those who post indecent, obscene, or anti-national content could face severe penalties, including a minimum of three years in jail, with the possibility of a life sentence.
