Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed optimism, stating the war with Russia may be nearing its end. During his visit to the US, Zelenskyy highlighted Ukraine’s progress, reclaiming over 1,000 square kilometers of Russian-held territory. He urged global allies to strengthen Ukraine’s army to secure peace. While addressing the UN and meeting US leaders, Zelenskyy presented a “victory plan” and called for decisive action to end Russian aggression. Meanwhile, tensions continue, with Russian attacks escalating in Zaporizhzhia and Ukraine accused of shelling Russian border villages.
