As the first phase of polling begins for Jammu & Kashmir’s assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called on voters, especially youth and first-time voters, to vote in large numbers. The second phase is scheduled for September 25, and the third on October 1, with results set to be declared on October 8. Union Home Minister Amit Shah emphasized the need for a strong government to make the region terror-free and promote development.
