The army and police launched an joined operation in Gugaldhara forest of north Jammu’s kupwara.
Kupwara (Jammu): After receiving an intelligence input about militants trying to enter the valley. They launched an operation to foil an infiltration bid. The Army said the joint operation was launched after intelligence inputs about militants trying to infiltrate into the Kashmir Valley. During the operation sources revealed that the joint team observed some movement in the area and challenged the militants, who opened indiscriminate fire. The joint team of forces retaliated, leading to the death of two militants. Also “Two terrorists have been eliminated by the security forces in the ongoing Operation Gugaldhar. War-like stores have been recovered,” Chinar Corps posted.
