Supreme Court’s Strong Stand: No Part of India Can Be Called ‘Pakistan’

The Supreme Court of India firmly stated that calling any part of the nation “Pakistan” undermines its territorial integrity. This remark came during proceedings regarding controversial comments made by Karnataka High Court judge Justice V Srishananda. After reviewing the judge’s public apology, the five-judge bench, led by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud, decided not to pursue further actions. The court emphasized the importance of maintaining justice perception across all societal segments and highlighted that judges should exercise restraint in their remarks during proceedings.
