Sumit Antil made history by winning his second consecutive Paralympics gold in javelin at the Paris 2024 Games. He broke his own F64 category record with a throw of 70.59 meters, setting a new Paralympics record. Antil’s achievement marks India’s third gold in the Paris Paralympics and adds him to the elite club of Indians with two Paralympics golds. Meanwhile, fellow Indian competitors Sandeep and Sandip Sargar finished fourth and seventh, respectively.
