Major Disruptions as 1,500 Workers Demand Better Conditions

Over 1,500 Samsung workers in Chennai, India, have been on strike for 11 days, demanding recognition of their new union, the Samsung India Labour Welfare Union (SILWU). The workers seek improved wages and working conditions, citing unsafe practices and excessive pressure.
