Ishikawa Prefecture Faces Floods as Thousands Are Forced to Leave

As heavy rains trigger devastating floods in Ishikawa, Japanese authorities have ordered about 44,700 residents to evacuate, following a recent earthquake. The Japan Meteorological Agency issued its highest alert level as record rainfall of 121mm was reported in Wajima. With rivers overflowing and mudslides threatening safety, residents are urged to prioritize their well-being. The region continues to struggle from the aftermath of a deadly quake, underscoring the urgency of this evacuation.
