As summer holidays end, students return to school after one of the coolest UK summers in nearly a decade. The Met Office reports that this year’s average temperature was just 14.37°C,
the lowest since 2015. While the South and East saw typical weather, the North-West was cooler and wetter. Though autumn won’t break records like last year, drier and warmer days are on the way.
