Chester Bennington’s Son Voices Concerns About ‘Cruel’ Linkin Park Fans at Reunion Shows

Jaime Bennington, son of late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington, has revealed that he doesn’t feel safe attending the band’s reunion concerts. Following the announcement of Linkin Park’s return with new lead singer Emily Armstrong, Jaime shared his discomfort on Instagram, citing the aggressive behavior of some fans. He expressed concerns about his safety at general admission shows, particularly given the hostility directed towards him online.

Jaime also criticized the band’s co-founder, Mike Shinoda, accusing him of erasing his father’s legacy during International Suicide Prevention Month. Controversy surrounding Armstrong’s ties to convicted actor Danny Masterson and her alleged involvement with the Church of Scientology has further fueled the situation.

Linkin Park’s reunion tour includes dates across the globe, starting with a show in Los Angeles on September 11. Despite his fears, Jaime stated that he needs to see the show for closure but asked fans to respect his and his partner’s space. He made it clear that any harm directed toward them would be the band’s responsibility.
