A lawsuit has been filed against California State Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil, accusing her of sexually exploiting her male chief of staff, Chad Condit. The suit, filed in Sacramento County Superior Court, claims Condit was coerced into sexual acts to retain his job. He alleges that Alvarado-Gil engaged in “erratic, controlling” behavior, demanding oral sex, which led to physical injuries, including back problems. Condit is now seeking damages for emotional distress and lost earnings.
