Tata Motors will source EV battery packs from China’s Octillion Power Systems to improve performance and diversify its supply chain, according to a report by Live Mint. The Curvv.ev will be the first model to feature these batteries. This move comes as Tata Motors continues to lead the Indian EV market and recently entered the global top 10 most valued automotive firms with a market cap of $51 billion. The company aims for price parity between EVs and traditional vehicles.
