MG Motors India has unveiled the Windsor EV, a new electric CUV priced from ₹9.99 lakh (introductory ex-showroom). This vehicle offers a modern design with a 4.3-meter length and a 2,700mm wheelbase, comparable to the Hyundai Creta. The Windsor EV features a 38kWh battery, providing a range of up to 331km on a full charge.
With four driving modes and an array of premium features—including a 15.6-inch touchscreen, a fully digital driver’s display, and wireless phone charging—the Windsor EV combines style with performance. Bookings start on October 3, and deliveries will begin on October 13, 2024. Note that the ₹9.99 lakh price does not include the cost of the battery; customers will pay ₹3.5 per kilometer as part of MG’s Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program.
