Generous Gesture by Star and Director: Reducing Producer’s Burden

In a remarkable show of integrity, Ravi Teja has returned ₹4 crore, and director Harish Shankar has given back ₹2 crore from their earnings for the underperforming film Mr Bachchan. Released on August 15 and failing to make an impact at the box office, the film has grossed only ₹14 crore worldwide. Both Teja and Shankar voluntarily reimbursed part of their remuneration to ease the losses for the producers, People Media Factory.
