Labourers Lose Lives in Horrific Highway Accident
In a heartbreaking accident on the Prayagraj-Varanasi highway near Mirzapur, a speeding truck collided with a tractor trolley ferrying labourers, killing 10 people and injuring 3. The incident occurred around 1 AM as the labourers were returning home after a day’s work in Bhadohi. The injured are receiving treatment at Banaras Hindu University Hospital. The deceased were residents of Varanasi. The police have launched an investigation into the crash, and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
